Writing update - General - Nov 2015

solarianaAs always, any time I have a deadline, my muse wants to work on *something else*. I need to get SeSa planned and written and my muse has come up with TWO other stories it wants to write instead. *sigh*. Due to OT at work, being a bit sick and having relatives in town for most October weekends, I am still working on reading this year's BB stories. There were supposed to be 8, but one was never posted. So out of 7 posted stories, I wrote 2 (Once Upon A Time In The Forest) and (If I Ever Get Out Of Here). Of the 5 remaining, I read the first one (Memories) right away, then everything hit. I finally got the 2nd (His Two Dads) story read, then jumped to the story posted on Friday (Fifteen Minutes To Midnight). I'm through all those now. I'm about halfway through (Kelly Brook Farm 2 - Changes ). That leaves the one that is still (a month later) not posted. I don't understand that at all. Why say you're going to post something in 1-2 days, then never post the damn thing? Oh well. And the other one I need to read is the 150 WC story (The Eva Chronicles). I'm leaving this one until I've finished reading, yes READING, all the SeSa stories. I want to have enough time to get through the entire thing without distraction. And once I finish reading (Kelly Brook Farm 2 - Changes ), hopefully today, I MUST get going on my SeSa. And I have 2 other stories just started than my muse wants to work on and I really, really, really want to wrap up SOLD! And I have another 3 bunnies going that are stalled. Hoping to finish those one day.

This story is now at 57 chapters! I have 2 major points to hit before this one ends. I'm guessing 5-10 more chapters. Maybe? But I do feel the end is near. If only I can finish the writing between my challenges and RL!
Started 2015:
SeSa #1 current WC 550 (new)
At first, I was afraid I couldn't come up with anything for my recipient's requests. Then a title and a scene hit me. I like the title. And the scene is 500 words. Just, now I don't know where to go! LOL
Crossover bunny current WC 200 (new)
Since I had heard NOTHING from one of my BB artists for 6 weeks, I did my own art. Then the artist came through the day before we were scheduled to post. Last minute! And although I like their art, I liked mine, too! So I thought up this to use with the art I created. It's barely started, but I'm thinking of setting the majority of the story in New Orleans with possible FBI (Fornell and BAU) involvement.
Cabin bunny current WC 1300 (new)
I thought long and hard about *Winter bunny*. It's too close to one of my last year's SeSa stories (it was the rough start that I ditched and started over on the SeSa), but of course I hate just abandoning stuff. So, I changed the setting and will use a couple of the best lines (some of it did wind up in last year's SeSa). So, I will retire *Winter Bunny* after this update and this one will take it's place.
Started 2014:
Plane bunny current WC 843 (no change)
This one has been bouncing around my head for a couple of years. Never started it, just had some general idea for it. Based kind of sort of Cast Away. When the season premiere (Sept 2014) started with Gibbs and Tim in a helicopter crash, I thought to abandon this, but it's different. They crashed in a forest, shot down and chased by bad guys. In my story, they crash in the ocean and wind up on an island.
Undercover bunny WC 3770 (no change)
Naemi is so good to me that I wanted to write something for her. I started writing it during the BB writing period. I may have added a couple hundred words here and there since. It is currently at 3770. Tim/Tony undercover. Tim gets kidnapped and tortured. I haven't added to this one in a long while and I would love to get it finished so I can present it to Naemi before she loses all interest in reading NCIS. I've been thinking more about this one. I'd really like to finish it one day.
Photography bunny WC 1180 (no change)
This bunny was inspired by artwork posted with Gibbs taking pictures. I started it during the summer (BB writing period...I was struggling with The Contract and started a few other projects during this time, also got several chapters of SOLD! done.) So it's undercover, Gibbs as a photographer. Maybe abandoned forever.
Winter bunny WC 1135 (This will be abandoned and the best bits not used for last year's SeSa will now be used for the Cabin bunny)
Originally a thought for Tibbs Yuletide 2013, never started. I wrote a completely different story. Then I started writing it in November this year and it seemed *wrong*. I realized I was writing an established Gibbs/DiNozzo on their day off and the original thought was Tony going into a frozen lake chasing after a suspect, not rescuing a child on a day off. So this was abandoned and the other story became a SeSa 2014 story. I'm not sure if there is any point of doing anything with this. I'd really like to take a look at this and either finish it or scrap it. If it's never going to go anywhere, maybe I should retire it off the list?

Brokeback Mountain bunny not started
I recently (2014?) watched most of Brokeback Mountain. I've been yearning to write a cowboy AU for quite a while. Maybe for next year's BB? I haven't put anything down or made any firm thoughts of plot or direction.
Post-Apocalypse bunny not started
Oh, I've been kicking this one around for a few years. So far I'm thinking Earth is taken over by aliens who enslave humans. Tim gets nabbed and one of the aliens takes him as a sex slave/pet. Ducky, Jimmy, Tony and Gibbs get away to Gibbs' cabin, but are trying to save Jackson, Tim, and Ziva/Bishop. Ha! I could probably kill off Ziva in this and not take too much heat for it.
